James B. Dillard, 63, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at his home.
The husband of Judy Dillard, who survives, he worked at Harmon Automotive for 30 years, H & M Construction for 10 years and in maintenance at Tennalum for 2 years. Mr. Dillard was born April 1, 1942 in Hardeman County, son of the late Thomas Columbus Dillard and Nannie Estelle Beshires Dillard and lived here all of his life. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Services were 2 PM Saturday, May 7, at Shackelford's Bolivar Chapel with Robert Gibson, Orville McMahan and Roger Hatch officiating. Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery near Toone.
In addition to his wife, whom he married November 14, 1963, survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, William Thomas and Ann Dillard of Chattanooga; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tommy Naylor of Silerton; two brothers, Thomas Dillard of Toone and Burton Dillard of Bolivar; one sister, Birdie Jones King of Bolivar; four grandchildren, Cody and Sarah Naylor and Matthew and Robin Dillard.
