James Davis

James "Curt" Daviswas born in Enville, Tennessee on July 15, 1909 to the late William Henry and Lilly Louetta Hanna Davis.On December 23, 1934 Mr. Davis married Winnie Marie Ellis who preceded him in death on December 21, 1995.Mr. Davis worked as a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Hurricane Primative Baptist Church. He was a good father, friend, and neighbor to all. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. Mr. Davis departed this life on Thursday, November 01, 2007 at the age of 98 years, 3 months, 16 days.He is survived by his son, James Thomas Davis and his wife Cathy Dickson Davis of Sardis, Tennessee; a sister, Eula Mae Davis Morris of Milledgeville, Tennessee; a grandson, Tommy Lynn Davis and his wife Melody Collins Davis of Sardis, Tennessee; a granddaughter, April Dawn Davis of Lexington, Tennessee; and a great-grandson, Matthew Lynn Davis of Sardis, Tennessee.In addition to his wife and parents Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a sister, Eunice Davis Moore; 2 brothers: Oid Davis and Cleatis Davis.
