James Walton Davis

James Walton Davis was born September 27, 1949 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Vernon Cisero and Opal Gladys Brewer Davis. He was united in marriage to Mary Ruth Brown on March 2, 1968, was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ and retired as a machinist from TVA. Mr. Davis departed this life on June 3, 2021 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 7 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Brown Davis of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Blake Davis of Waynesboro, Tn and Byron Davis, wife, Cindy of Clifton, TN; grandchildren, Ally Davis Piefer, husband, Nick, Katherine Davis Fretwell, husband, Braxton and Mary Lauren Davis all of Florence, AL, Claire Davis Bowen, husband, Justin of Alexanderia, AL and Avery Davis and Hope Ruddle both of Jacksonville, AL; sisters, Bernice Davis Gerlach of Waynesboro, TN, Verna Sue Davis Kelley of Foley, AL and Becky Davis Sharpe of Navarre Beach, FL and brother, Tafford Davis of Waynesboro, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by brothers, Donnie, Roy and Bronson Davis and sister, Reba Davis.

At his family's request, his remains will be cremated. Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, June 12, 2:30 pm until service time at Mr. Hebron Cemetery.
