Mr. Cupples died March 18 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Linda Elder Cupples, who survives, he was a painter and self employed carpenter and had worked as a truck driver for D & M Trucking. He was born in Hardeman County, son of the late James Edward Cupples, Jr. and Betty Ruth McCarver Cupples and lived all of his life here.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on July 18, 1987, survivors include a son, Ed Cupples of Toone; a daughter, Lisa Cupples of Bolivar; a step daughter, Brandi Sullivan of Henderson; two sisters, Jackie Cupples of Selmer and Angie Henderson of Bolivar; a brother, Mark Cupples of Bolivar; a granddaughter, Melissa Cupples; two step grandchildren, Brianna and Flora Sullivan; a niece, Stevie Cupples; a nephew, Trevor Henderson and a great nephew, Nickolus Byrum.
