Graveside service for James W. (Jimmy) Crews, age 64 of Lawrenceburg will be Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Crews Cemetery in Lawrence County with Ronnie Gobbell officiating. Interment will follow services with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.Jimmy was born February 17, 1946 in Lawrence County, Tennessee the son of the late Wilburn and Ella Sue Gobel Crews. Mr. Crews departed this life Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 9 Months. Jimmy, A U.S. Navy Viet-Nam veteran, was a truck driver, factory worker, and a member of the Church of Christ.He is survived by his wife Edie Brown Crews of Lawrenceburg, TN; stepdaughter, Alice Dickerson and a stepson, Vance Beckham both of Savannah, TN; 5 stepgrandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildrensisters, Brenda Crews Byrd and husband Charlie and Carol Crews Gobbell and husband Ronnie all of Lawrenceburg, TN.nieces and nephews
