James E. Crawford

James Crawford departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 3 days. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on January 18, 1945, the son of the late Byrd and Adra Crawford. On December 22, 1975, he was united in marriage to Wanda Terry, who preceded him in death on November 29, 2015.

James had worked on the boat, been a truck driver, and was the owner and operator of WJ Escort Service. He loved spending time with his grandkids going to the Flea Market.

He is survived by his children, Michael Shannon Crawford and wife LaJanea of Iuka, Mississippi, Kimberly Kristine Lewis and husband Wayne of Savannah, Tennessee, Adra McFerson and husband Cody of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Chris Brandon; grandchildren, Nikki Crawford, Ty Crawford, Cai Karter, Phoenix McFerson, Ginger Lewis, Johnathan Lewis, and Haley Lewis; and great grandchildren, Matthew Wardlow, Aiden Wardlow, and Asia Wardlow.

In addition to his wife and parents, James was preceded in death by one son, and seventeen brothers and sisters.
