James Allen Cox

James Allen Cox was born January 8, 1933 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Hugh Allen "Tobe" and Elta Holbrooks Cox.Mr. Cox was united in marriage to Reba Wright on November 24, 1956. He was a retired supervisor over the cap shop for Kilgore in Toone, TN; served in th Army and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.Mr. Cox departed this life on March 17, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days.He is survived by his wife Reba (Wright) Cox of Hornsby, TN; a son, William Cox of Oxford, MS; a sister, Imogene Evans of Bethel Springs, TN; three brothers, R. P. Cox of Bethel Springs, TN, Leon Cox of Bells, TN and Hugh Wayne Cox of Hornsby, TN; three grandchildren, Brandt Tyler, Laura Beth and Sarah Allen Cox all of Oxford, TN.
