James W. Clay

James W. Clay of Lincoln Park, MI was born September 5, 1925 , the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Lily Parker Clay. Mr. Clay was a retired machine operator, was of the church of Christ faith and was a United States Army veteran of WW II.

Mr. Clay departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Heartland health Care Center in Allen Park, Michigan at the age of 91 Years, 1 Day.

He is survived by a son, Randy Clay and wife, Vicki; daughters, Brenda Ritter and husband, Andrei and Annette Sharp and husband, Roy; a close friend, Ted Zeidel; 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Houston community, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
