The husband of Jean King Chandler, who survives, he was a farmer and fisherman. He was born to James Robert Chandler and Liddle Margarita Wiggins Chandler, both of whom preceded him in death and lived most of his life here. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and dearly loved his family. Mr. Chandler was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on May 25, 1963, survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Rachel and Michael Roberson of Ashland, Miss., Marie and Larry Robbins of Bolivar; two sons, and their wives, Tim and Teresa Chandler of Havelock, NC and Jim and Becky Chandler of Hickory Valley; three sisters, Margie Chandler of Chicago, IL, Bernice Chandler of Indiana and Carolyn Shields of Bolivar; a brother, Calvin Chandler of Odabel, OK; one grandson, Logan Roberson and five granddaughters, Nicole Roberson, Shelby Sisco, Katie, Jennifer and Alicia Chandler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Chandler.
