James Carlton Bryant

Mr. James Carlton Bryant, age 66 of Mercer, passed from this life Sunday morning, February 7, 2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Bryant was born May 20, 1949 in Obion County, TN to Boss and Mary Lou Sanders Bryant. A prior resident of Slayden, MS, he had formerly worked for APAC and Lehman Roberts Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, wildlife and spending time with his family.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Beverly Hood of Mt. Pleasant, MS and Darla Gauldin and her husband Tony of Alamo, TN; 4 grandchildren Nikki and Lani Hood, and Billy and Paul Gauldin; 2 great-grandchildren, Angel Moore and Shayan Lynn Moore; 2 sisters Shirley Moore and Ruby Bryant of Mt. Pleasant, MS and a brother, Lavern Bryant of Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Gladys Woods, Dosha Wray, Dorothy Sue Hanson, and Rutha Ridgell; and 3 brothers, Julius, Herman, and Bobby Bryant.
