James William Campion

James William Campion was born December 17, 1936 in Selmer, TN the son of the late James Joseph and Beatrice Peerey Campion. Mr. Campion departed this life on November 5, 2013 in Selmer at the age of 76 Years, 10 Months, 19 Days.

James was a graduate of the Tennessee School for the Deaf in Knoxville, TN and was Salutatorian of his class. He was employed by the City of Selmer Street Department for 34 years. He was an avid sports fan and a Boy Scout as a youth. He was a member of The Springs of Bethel Pentecostal Church.

James is survived by a sister, Bea Kiser and husband Herbert of Selmer, TN; a brother, Joe Campion and wife Jo of Selmer, TN; two nieces, Brandi Dixon and Kerri Clayton; a nephew, Jimmy Kiser. A host of extended family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on November 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Selmer, Tennessee. Visitation begins at noon on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer.
