James Brannon

James Brannonwas born December 17, 1929 in Waterloo, Alabama the son of the late Clarence and Maybelle McDaniel Brannon. Mr. Brannon worked for the City Streets Department of Florence, Alabama. On August 04, 1951, Mr. Brannon was united in marriage to Willie Cox who proceded him in death October 2002. Ms. Nellie Mae Dubois became his second wife on April 08, 2004.He departed this life on August 15, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 7 Months, 29 Days.In addition to his wife Nellie Mae Dubois Brannon ,he is survived by his children: 2 daughters Janice Oberhausen of Waterloo, Alabama, Joan Wilkerson of Piedmont, Missouri, and 1 son Toney Brannon of Waynesboro, Tennessee; 5 sisters: Helen Pennington, Lois Swinney, Winnie Cummings all of Florence, Alabama, Hazel Lambert of Savannah, Tennessee, Kathy Hollis of St. Joseph, Tennessee and 1 brother Larry Brannon of St. Joseph, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren: Shannon Jenkins, Sherman Jenkins, Ginger Wilkens, Brandon Wilkerson, Lisa Wilkerson, Chris Wilkerson, Jamie Lucas, and Kendall Brannon; 7 great-grandchildren: Eli Jenkins, Ethan Jenkins, Kassidy Wilkins, Thomas Wilkins, Lorainna Jenkins, Kelsey Jackson ,Caleb Lucas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Wilburn Brannon and RC Brannon, and 1 sister: Gladis Brannon.
