James Elvin Benson

JAMES ELVIN BENSONwas born on January 7, 1942 the son of the late Gulmer and Artie Benson.Mr. Benson was a timber cutter for Dale Johnson's Saw Mill. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Community and was Church of Christ in belief.Mr. Benson departed this life on February 12, 2008 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 5 days.He is survived by 2 daughters, Glona Stephen and Becky Kyle and one son, James Eugene Benson.4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren2 sisters, Betty Qualls and Barbara Vinson and one brother, Curtis BensonHe is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Mr. Benson was also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter and 2 brothers, Bennie Loyd and Rod Benson.
