James David Bell

James David Bell



was born on August 27, 1947 in Wayne County, Tennessee the son of the late James Edward and Frances Marie Dicus Bell.



He was united in marriage to the former Joyce Foust, who preceded him in death. On June 13, 1996 he was united in marriage to the former Joanne Reeves, who survives.



Mr. Bell was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a truck driver for Shiloh Foods and a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Mr. Bell was a member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge #102 and was a York Rite Mason.



He departed this life on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 58 years, 3 months and 24 days.



Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Joanne Reeves Bell of Savannah, Tennessee;



2 sons: David Allen Bell of Corinth, Mississippi

and James William Bell of Bethel Springs, Tennessee;



2 step-daughters: Denise Whittman of Henderson, Tennessee

and Pam Crotts of Selmer, Tennessee;



4 grandchildren: Mikayla Whittman, Jemma Crotts,

Matthew Bell and Madeline Bell



3 brothers: Robert Bell of Amboy, Illinois

Jerry Lynn Bell of Linden, Tennessee

and Carl Borden of Crump, Tennessee;



and 2 sisters: Frances Paulk of Florence, Alabama

and Elizabeth Hollaway of Crump, Tennessee.



In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by

2 brothers: George DeWayne Borden and Carroll Borden.
