Jackie Wayne Poindexter

Jackie Wayne Poindexter was born October 13, 1951 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late John C. and Kate Foster Poindexter.He was a self-employed jeweler and was Baptist in faith. Mr. Poindexter was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Poindexter departed this life on September 28, 2005 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 53 Years, 11 Months, 15 Days. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Beth Wigginton of Corinth, Mississippi; son, Jared Heath Poindexter of Corinth, Mississippi; three brothers, John W. Poindexter of Memphis, Tennessee, Joel T. Poindexter and wife Edith of Independence, Missouri, Andy L. Poindexter and wife Carolyn of Eastview, Tennessee; grandchildren, Mallory Wigginton, Kaylie Wigginton, Landon Heath Poindexter; sister-in-law, Linda Poindexter of Corinth, Mississippi; and companion, Joan Johnson of Selmer, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Mr. Poindexter was preceded in death by a brother, George E. Poindexter.
