Jackie A. Jones

Jackie A. Jones was born May 9, 1949 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Cornelious Eugene and Mary Marie West Jones. Mr. Jones died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 5 Months, 16 Days. Mr. Jones, a machinist at MAK Tool and Gage, was a Viet-Nam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was married to Patricia Ann Staggs November 8, 1975.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Staggs Jones, two sons, Mike Allen Jones and Scott Lynn Jones, a daughter, Tennie Leighann Jones all of Waynesboro, TN, seven brothers, James Frank Jones of Lawrenceburg, Roy Jones, Irvin Jones, Robert Jones, Jerry Jones, Randall Jones, and Brent Jones all of Waynesboro, TN, four sisters, Margie Maples, Betty Melson, Margaret Jones, and Debbie Lineberry all of Waynesboro, TN, several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Clara Floyd and Joyce Jones, and a brother, Charlie Jones.

Services will be Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Myra Staggs and Bobby Pinckley officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Shields Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
