Jackie Clinton Farris

Jackie Clinton Farris was born February 9, 1944, the son of the late Leonard and Hazel Burns Farris. He departed this life on December 15, 2021 at the age of 77 Years, 10 Months, 6 Days.

In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by two brothers, E. J. Farris and Freddy Farris, and a sister, Linda Cornelius.

He worked for Bond Construction Company in Iuka, MS for many years and retired from APAC Corporation.

Jackie loved being outdoors, playing golf and watching sports, especially Tennessee football. He enjoyed gardening and was very proud of his roses and azaleas.

Jackie is survived by his life partner of 14 years, Wanda York; his son, David (Priscilla) Farris; six grandchildren: Paige Farris, Jaycee Farris, Allie Moore, Kayli Hurst, Olivia Hurst, and Colby Hurst; two brothers, Haywood Farris and Ronald D. Farris; two sisters, Frances McAlister and Martha Lavern Steakley; and a host of family and friends.
