was born in Florence, South Carolina on March 30, 1954 the daughter of Clydia McGee Hatfield and the late Jack Evans.
On February 20, 1971 she was united in marriage to George James Evans, who survives.
Mrs. Evans worked in sales for Victoria Secret in Florence, South Carolina. She lived most of her life in Florence, South Carolina, 2 years in Hardin County, Tennessee and 5 years in McNairy County, Tennessee. Mrs. Evans enjoyed working in her home and making her family happy. She was a simple but busy minded lady.
Mrs. Evans departed this life on October 7, 2016 at her residence in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 7 days.
In addition to her husband George of 45 years, she is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Sims and her husband Derrick of Asheville, North Carolina and Angela Marie Evans of Michie, Tennessee.

one brother, Donnie Hartfield of Florence, South Carolina
one sister, Cynthia Johnson and her husband Joseph of Marion, South Carolina
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her step father, John Dudley Hatfield and one brother, Henry (Hank) Hartfield.
