Jackie Alexander

Jackie Alexander was born July 25, 1944 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Clarence Odell and Theo Ruth Alexander.On October 15, 1971, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Horton of Savannah, Tennessee, who survives.Mr. Alexander retired from PCA as a Maintenance Supervisor. He had lived in the Hardin County area all his life. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and sang in the choir. Mr. Alexander enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking with the men at church. He coached baseball, basketball, and softball. He was a great husband, dad, grandfather, and a devoted Christian man.Mr. Alexander departed this life on July 31, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 6 Days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Alexander is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Alexander of Savannah, TN; three sons, Jarrod Wayne Alexander and wife Jessi , Joshua Lee Alexander and wife Abby all of Savannah, TN and Joey Neal Alexander of Little Rock , AR; two sisters, Glenda Shephard and Pat Berry both of Savannah, TN; a granddaughter, Katie Elizabeth Alexander.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby G. Alexander; a sister, Carolyn Fielder.
