Jack C. Mallette
was born in Moss Point, Mississippi on April 6, 1923 the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Pearl Lyons Mallette.
On March 1, 1946 he was united in marriage to the former Betty Spradlin, who survives.
Mr. Mallette was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was a member of Crump First Baptist Church and was retired from PCA.
He departed this life on November 25, 2006 at his residence in Crump, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 19 days.
Mr. Mallette is survived by his wife, Betty Mallette of Crump, Tennessee;
4 sons: Michael Spradlin and his wife, Laura, of Savannah, Tennessee, Dan Mallette and his wife, Diane, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Don Mallette and his wife, Denise, of Jackson, Tennessee and Karl Mallette and his wife, Janet, of Savannah, Tennessee;
2 daughters: Ramona Wilkerson and her husband, Ronnie, of Savannah, Tennessee and Marie Hurst and her husband, Terry, of Selmer, Tennessee; 20 grandchildren;
16 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Russell Mallette of Mobile, Alabama and
Bobby Mallette of Moss Point, Mississippi and one sister, Berdine Hinson of
Montgomery, Alabama.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Loren Mallette, Lonnie Mallette and Alsa Lee Mallette and 3 sisters: Agnes Spafford, Viney Jane Pettis and Vernell Lowe.
