Jack Loving

Jack Loving was born November 8, 1909 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Lewis Loving and the late Jennie Whitaker Loving Qualls. He was united in marriage to Lula Elvie Loving on December 8, 1934. Mrs. Loving preceded him in death on November 16, 1992 after 58 years of marriage.Mr. Loving retired from operating a bulldozer after 50 years of service. During his working life, he built a reputation founded on honesty and integrity. He attended the Adamsville First Presbyterian Church, and was also an affiliate member of the McNairy County Soil Conservation Association. He loved his work, being with people and his association with the Adamsville Senior Citizens Center. Mr. Loving departed this life on August 31, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 9 Months, 23 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Rheba Fay Majors and husband Billy of Adamsville, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Renee Anderson and husband Bernie of Ulan Bator, Mongolia and Kevin Majors and wife Laura of Adamsville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren: Jonathan Anderson, Cori Anderson and Jackson Majors.
