Jack Ray Benson

JACK RAY BENSONwas born in Olive Hill, Tennessee on January 13, 1937 the son of the late Buford John and Oren Elizabeth Willis Benson.On June 29, 1957 he was united in marriage to Gail Davis, who survives.Mr. Benson lived in the Sardis area since he was five years old and he had done farming all of his life. Mr. Benson enjoyed flea marketing, spending time at Sardis and Reagan Cafe and he was a collector of all types of merchandise. Most of all Mr. Benson loved his family and grandchildren dearly. He departed this life on May 5, 2013 at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 22 days.In addition to his wife, Gail of Sardis, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Anthony Ray Benson and his wife Felicia of Sardis, Tennessee, Deanna Benson Kennedy and her husband Phillip of Sardis, Tennessee and Dixie Benson Creasey and her husband Jeff of Parsons, Tennessee6 grandchildren, Jordan Kennedy, Annaston Kennedy, Aiden Creasey, Asher Creasey, Becca Benson and Raya BensonIn addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Hattie Benson and John and Dora Willis
