J. D. Whitman

May 16, 1916 — April 29, 2006

He was born and reared in Chester County, the son of the late Nathan Edd and Maudie Mosier Whitman. He went to school at Phillips School House in Chester County and had farmed and worked in the timber busniess all of his life.
