J. R. Morgan

J. R. Morgan of Michie, Tennessee, was born on July 24, 1947, to Georgia Childers Morgan and the late John R. Morgan. He had worked as a truck driver, a shrimp boat worker, a beaver dam demolitionist, and more recently for the railroad.Mr. Morgan passed from this life on Thursday, February 12, 2009, in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 61 years, 6 months, and 19 days.Survivors are his mother Georgia Morgan of Michie; two sisters, Brenda Morgan and husband Barry Bowen of Michie, Betty Geer and husband Bill of Corinth, Mississippi; three nieces, Stephanie Middleton, Angie Gann, Briann Bowen; a nephew Tony Geer.A host of other relatives and friends.Other than his father, Mr. Morgan was also preceded in death by a sister Barbara Ann Morgan.
