J. C. Davis

J. C. Davis was born January 19, 1934 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late John Henry and Nettie Brewer Davis. Mr. Davis departed this life Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at his home near Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 3 Months, 17 Days. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Littleton; two brothers, Taft and Samuel Davis; four sisters, Louise Kilburn, Rosa Lynch, Ruby Smith, and Delia Shultz Woods. He was retired from Tennessee Valley Electric Company and attended Full Gospel House of Praise.He is survived by his wife Louise Davis; a son, John Davis; and a daughter, Teresia Robertson all of Waynesboro, TN; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildrena sister, Mabel Pulley of Lawrenceburg, TN; Services will be Friday May 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Joseph Wallace and John Hodum officiating. Burial following in Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.
