J. D. YOUNGwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 24, 1928 the son of the late Joe D. and Josie Neill Young.On September 10, 1949 he was united in marriage to Lillie Mae Petty, who preceded her husband in death on August 9, 2008.Mr. Young was a self employed plumber and had also worked at Parris Manufacturing. He was a member of Campground Methodist Church.Mr. Young departed this life on May 31, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 7 daysHe is survived by his son, Jerry Young of Savannah, Tennessee3 grandchildren, Mandy Broyles, Jenny Smith and Sarah Young4 great grandchildren, Keagan Hopper, Ellis Smith, Eastyn Smith and Sawyer SmithIn addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by one son, Roy Young, one infant son, and one sister, Dorothy Irvin
