J. C. Wilkerson

J.C. Wilkerson was born on April 16, 1943 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Icie Wilkerson Leonard.

Mr. Wilkerson honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968 in Vietnam. J.C. loved bass fishing and Nascar. He even owned his own racecar.

J.C. Wilkerson departed this life on December 8, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

He is survived by his fiancee, Carol Fowler of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Charles Leonard; and sisters, Pearl Heltsley, Patrica Parton, Marie Spiller, Wilma Gill, and Linda Vandiver. 

In addition to his mother, J.C. was preceded in death by his stepfather, Shelby L. Leonard and his siblings, Johnny, Shelby Edward, James Earl, and Icie Faye.
