J. C. Teague

J. C. Teague of Guys, Tennessee, was born on June 20, 1929, to the late Claude Bell and Pearl Irene Johnson Teague. He was united to marriage to Iller Jean Martin on April 14, 1950. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Teague became a member of Ramer Baptist Church in 1945 and had served as a Deacon since September 22, 1968.Survivors are his wife of more than 58 years, Iller Teague; his son, Terry Teague and wife Sherry of Guys; two grandsons, Nicholas Jay Teague and wife Leah of Guys, and Daniel Wayne Teague of Nashville and his girlfriend Mary Lauren Walden; a great-grandson, Jones Cooper Teague; four sisters, Helen Faye Montgomery of Guys, Florence Loudell Townsend of Selmer, Brenda Jean Hunter of Ramer, and Mary Madglene Goodrum of Selmer; one brother, Jerry Neal Teague of Ramer.Also survived by a special friend, Sharon Stubblefield, and a host of other relatives and friends.Other than his parents, Mr. Teague was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Teague, on December 7, 2007. Also preceded by a sister, Charlotte Ann Pearson, and three brothers, Billy Joe Teague, Claude Douglas Teague, and Benny Edward Teague.
