Iva Nadine McWilliams West of Collinwood, TN was born in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Jasper E. McWilliams and Nona Mae Brewer. She was a homemaker and departed this life on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
She is survived by sons, Maynard Thompson, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Collinwood, TN and Jay E. West and wife, Lois of Ardmore, AL; 7 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren; a brother, Paul McWilliams of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Bonita Housley of MI and Elizabeth Daniel of Iron City, TN; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms West was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Ann Thompson; a grandson, Kelly Ray Henderson; brothers, Hardison, Clifford and Burnett McWilliams and a sister, Bernice Staggs.
A graveside service will be Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1 pm at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Roger Troup officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Ronald Henson, Monty Oneal, Will Burnette, Michael Thompson, Wesley Oneal and Hunter Thompson. Honorary pallbearer will be Dylan Crabtree.
