Iris Evelyn Forshea, 70, of Saulsbury, died Thursday, February 24,
2005 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital's Transitional
Care.
The wife of Vernon Forshea, who survives, she was a retired dental
assistant with Western Mental Health Institute. She was born April
5, 1934 in Saulsbury, daughter of the late Harris Van Williams and
Clara Evelyn Clark Williams and lived most of her life in Hardeman County. Mrs. Forshea was a member of Saulsbury Baptist Church.
Services were 11AM Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Shackelford's
Bolivar Chapel with James Madden officiating. Burial was in West
Memorial Cemetery near Saulsbury.
In addition to her husband, whom she married April 19, 1950,
survivors include four sons, James E. "Jay" Forshea of Middleton,
David Forshea of Saulsbury, Ronnie Forshea of Brownsville and
Cody Forshea of Saulsbury; one sister, Lillie Reece of Saulsbury;
three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
