Inez Etheridge

Inez Etheridge, 86, of Toone, died early Friday morning at Pine Meadows Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
She was a secretary for Jack’s Cookie Company in Memphis. Mrs. Etheridge was born June 26, 1920 in Mississippi, daughter of the late John Blakemore Hill and Mary Moore Hill and made her home in Toone in 1974. She loved to travel and work in her flower gardens, was a member of Eastern Star in Memphis and was Baptist in belief.
Services were 2:30 pm Sunday, July 30, 2006, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Jimbo Anthony, Tommy Warner and Calvin Moore officiating. Burial was in Rainey Cemetery near Toone.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Russell of Germantown; one sister, Genelle Upton of Medon; one grandson, J.C. Russell of Germantown; four nieces and six nephews.
