Funeral services for Imagene Pulley Prater, age 77, of Waynesboro,TN will be on Saturday, March 15, 2008, 3:00 pm Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro with Cary Crews officiating. Interment following in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Friday March 14, 2008 5:00—9:00 pm and on Saturday March 15, from 8:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro,TN
Imagene Pulley Prater, a native of Wayne County, TN died on Thursday March 13, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, TN. She was born on May 10, 1930 in Waynesboro, TN to the late Walter Woods and Annie Kelso Pulley. Mrs. Imagene was prececed in death by her husband; Robert E. “Toot†Prater, brothers; Vernon Pulley, Richard Pulley, Joe Pulley ; sisters; Charlene Overton and Loudean Gammon
Mrs. Imagene was of the Pentecostal faith and was a retired cook for Valley Line tow boat company.
She is survived by sons Ronnie Prater and his wife Jean of Clifton, TN, Donny Prater and his wife, Kathy of Waynesboro; daughters, Margaret Staggs and her husband Dewayne of Waynesboro, and Dianne Prater of Morrison, TN; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Pulley of Savannah, TN, Royce Pulley of Waynesboro; sisters, Frances Morris of Clifton, TN, Nell Todd of Dyersburg, TN.
