Ida Lucille Robley Tennyson, 78, of Bolivar, died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Pine Meadows Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
The widow of Hiram Franklin Tennyson, Jr., who died August 7, 1996, she retired as an industrial engineer with the Dover Corporation in Middleton after 20 years of service. Mrs. Tennyson was born October 11, 1926 in Middleburg, daughter of the late Raymond Abner Robley and Jane Katherine Shearin Robley and lived here most of her life. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church near Toone.
Graveside services were 10 AM Tuesday, April 12 at Bolivar Memorial Cemetery with Fred Clifft and Doug Baker officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Bishop of Bolivar and Maeva Sue Tennyson of Jackson; one son, Franklin Tennyson of Fairview; one brother, Roye Robley of Tuscon, Arizona; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roland, Billy and Ray Curtis Robley.
