Mrs. Ida Fender Langford Gallaher departed this life on March 22, 2009 at her home in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 10 Months, 4 Days. She was born May 18, 1927 in North Carolina, the daughter of the late James and Ester Rice Fender. In addition to her parents Mrs. Gallaher was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Langford; sons, Jimmy and James Langford and a brother; James Fender. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Collinwood.She is survived by daughters, Dale White of Collinwood and Viola Prater of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Nicky Langford, Pam Pulley, and Tabatha Simmons all of Collinwood; Teresa Wright and Chris Langford both of Waynesboro; and Anthony Prater of Nashville;great-grandchildren, Amber Hunt, Addison Langford, Riley Langford, Alexander Huskey, Madison Simmons, Krishna Langford, Colton Langford, Whitley Langford, Gabbreell Langford Pulley, Lucas Stamps, and Alex Pulley;three sisters, Gladys Shelton of Burnsville, NC, Peggy Duncan of Marion, NC, Rose Godfrey of Hendersonville, NC; Services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Collinwood Church of God in Collinwood with Richard Neal and Steve Boshers officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
