Icie Hutcherson

She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Ephram N. and Barbara Elizabeth Talley Browder. She attended Chester County Schools and was married to John F. Hutcherson in 1923. They lived in Memphis and Ohio and returned to Finger in McNairy County where Mr. Hutcherson farmed and did carpenter work. He died in 1978. She had made her home in Selmer near her son John H. Hutcherson.



She is survived by a son John H. Hutcherson of Selmer; two daughters, Georgia E. Curlin Turner of Selmer and Robbie Jean Jones of Germantown; 6 grandchildren, Tim Hutcherson (Nancy), Leigh Johnson (Gary), Freddrick Hutcherson, Barbara Brigman, Stacy Baretta (Bart) and Denise Skunhovd (Kevin); nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Hutcherson in 1978, a son Jerry Paul Hutcherson in 1986 and a grandson, Tommy Curlin in 2006.
