Hudson Webb

December 7, 1928 — January 15, 2006

Hudson "Junior" Webb, 77, of Middleton, died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.



The husband of Lottie Walls Webb, who survives, he was a terminal manager at Chicasaw Trucking and a manager at Dunn’s in Grand Junction. Mr. Webb was born December 7, 1928 in Hardeman County, son of the late James Alford Webb and Annie Laverne Hudson Webb and lived most of his life in Middleton. A graduate of Middleton High School, he served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a deacon of Central Baptist Church in Middleton. Mr. Webb loved flowers and gardening and led singing at various churches and revivals.



Services were 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Middleton chapel with Jim Madden and George DeRousse officiating. Burial was in New Bethel Baptist Cemetery near Middleton.



In addition to his wife, whom he married May 26, 1953, survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Gary Wayne King of Toone and Barbara and J. D. Howell of Pocahontas; two sons and their wives, Lynn and Robin Webb and Richie and Robyn Webb, all of Middleton; one brother, James T. “Thad” Webb of Memphis; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher Shane and Shelly King, Kelly Denise and Anthony Russell, Amber Paige and Brad Calton, Derek Lane Howell, Kaitlyn Marie Busby, Jacob Allen Busby, David Lynn Webb, Anna Grace Webb, Wayne Andrew Webb, Hunter Reyde Webb and Chad Edward Droke and four great grandchildren, Caittlyn Marie King, Alayna Rae Russell, Charles Hudson “C.J.” Russell and Ryleigh Grace King.
