Hubert Lewis Quillin

Hubert Lewis Quillin Sr. of Iron City, TN was born March 24, 1926 in Wayne Co., TN, the son of the late John Lewis and Estella Italy Quillin. He was united in marriage to Anna Sue Farmer and she preceded him in death.Mr. Quillin was a retired factory worker, a member of the Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, Tennessee, and a veteran of the United States Army.Mr. Quillin departed this life on Thursday, March 1, 2012 Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 11 Months, 6 Days.He is survived by a son, Dalton Quillin; a daughter, Marie Huckaba and husband, Robert (Bob) all of Iron City, TN; two grandchildren, Wade Lewis Modrall and Lashae Simbeck; a grt-grandchild, Dawson Simbeck; a niece and a nephew.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Quillin was preceded in death by a son, Hubert Lewis Quillin Jr. Services will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Emerald Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery at Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
