Hubert Paul Gallaher

Services for Hubert Paul (Bud) Gallaher will be Friday, September 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.



Mr. Gallaher was born July 30, 1925 in Green Hill, Alabama, the son of the late William and Nancy Tilda Lee Daniels Gallaher. Mr. Gallaher departed this life on September 2, 2008 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 1 Month, 3 Days. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. Mr. Gallaher was retired from Dwyer Products in Michigan City, Indiana and was a custodian at Collinwood Schools.



He is survived by his wife Dorothy I. Selman Gallaher of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Nancy Liles of Collinwood, TN; four sons, Danny Gallaher of Michigan City, IN, Paul Gallaher of Collinwood, TN, Travis Gallaher of Cypress Inn, TN, and Dale Gallaher of Bangor, ME;



13 grandchildren, Katy Gallaher, Sarah Gallaher, Kody Gallaher, Luke Liles, Danny Gallaher, Laurel Gallaher, Jason Gallaher, Shawn Gallaher, Ben Gallaher, Bridgett Gallaher, Matt Gallaher, Dean Gallaher, Julia Gallaher, and 11 great-grandchildren;

two sisters, Geneva Risner of Columbia, TN, Juanita Sandusky of Poplar Bluff, MO;
