Hubert Ray Byrd

Hubert Ray (Hugh) Byrd Sr was born August 12, 1936 in Laurel, Mississippi the son of the late Thomas and Willie Selina Martin Byrd. He attended School in Laurel Mississippi and joined the U.S. Air Force 1954 serving in Germany during the military occupation and Korean War. Mr. Byrd Retired in 1974 after twenty years of service. He moved to Enville in 1998.Mr. Byrd departed this life on May 17, 2008 in Humboldt, Tennessee at the age of 71. He is survived by a daughter, Brandi Byrd of Plano, TX; a son, Buster Byrd of Enville, TN; and a special childhood friend Bob Trigg of Memphis.Services will be held on May 21, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, Burial will follow in the Henderson City Cemetery at Henderson, Tennessee.
