Mr. Trout passed away Saturday morning, February 13, 2016, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born to the late Eugene Howard and Mildred Lipford Trout in Obion County, TN where he lived as a youth before he and his family moved to Hardeman County in 1964. On August 11, 1967, he married Charldean Williams. Howard was a member of the Bolivar First Baptist Church where he had taught Sunday School and enjoyed working with the church's audio/visual program. His technical expertise was valuable in many other areas as well; such as with the annual Singing Christmas tree service. He had also gone on mission trips to Venezuela. Mr. Trout was a graduate of Trimble (TN) High School and served in the United States Air Force. He worked for 34 years at Western Health Mental Institute, retiring as Director of Maintenance and enjoyed gardening, as well as hunting and fishing in years past. Howard was always ready to help and encourage others with whom he came in contact.
He is survived by his wife, Charldean Trout of Bolivar; a son, Scott Trout of Harrogate, TN; a brother, John Trout of Bolivar; two sisters, Jeannie R. Trout of Troy, TN, and Anna Jo Trout; and four grandchildren, Taylor McMillan, Chase Fleming, Caden Trout, and Connor Trout. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sammi Carol Thornton.
