Howard Sutton

Howard Suttonwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 12, 1937 the son of the late Benjamin Charlie and Margaret Elizabeth Hurst Sutton.On April 8, 1966 he married Mary Elizabeth Alexander of Savannah, Tennessee, who survives.Mr. Sutton a general contractor and electrician owned and operated Sutton Electrical. He was a lifelong resident of Hardin County, an avid supporter of Savannah Christian Academy and very dedicated member of Sharon Baptist Church. He loved his family, sauger fishing, motorcycle riding, and trail bike riding. Mr. Sutton departed this life on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the age of 71 years, 5 months, 4 days.In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by a son: Vance Gray Sutton of Pensacola, Florida; three daughters: Shaun Winborn and husband Barry, Sharon McReynolds and husband Will all of Savannah, Tennessee, Terrye Gossett of Lexington, Tennessee; a sister: Patsy Neill of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother: Edward Sutton of Savannah, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Misty Gossett, Tully Gossett, Brannon Winborn, Les Winborn, Starla Hays, Sara McReynolds; nine great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Sarah Kenepp, Betty Lou Smith, Margaret Clay; two brothers: Billy Sutton, Bobby Sutton.
