Holland Edward Bowen of Cypress Inn, TN was born September 12, 1921 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late George David and Alta Odessalee Melton Bowen. He was united in marriage to Rose Marie Bernhardt and she preceded him in death on September 18, 2011.
Mr. Bowen was a retired painter and railroad conductor and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
Mr. Bowen departed this life on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his home at the age of 90 Years, 5 Months, 18 Days.
He is survived by brothers, Lee Bowen of Franklin, AR, Emory Bowen of Cypress Inn, TN; sisters, Ester Berry of Osceloa, IN, Della Faulkner and Minnie Faulkner both of Florence, AL, Nettie Risley of Akron, OH; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by a brother, Archie Bowen.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
