Hershel Clark Skelton

Hershel Clark Skelton, age 68, of Waynesboro died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. Mr. Skelton was born April 15, 1937 to the late Arthur Clark and Nettie Carroll Skelton. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Franklin, Eddie, MacArthur, and Willie Skelton and a sister, Peggy Garrison. Mr. Skelton was a self employed carpenter for many years and a member of Mt. Hope Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Nell Skelton, sons, Gary Skelton (Machell) of Waynesboro and Byron Skelton (Paula) of Clifton; daughters, Sharri Partain (James "Bo") of Clifton, Rhonda Edwards (Mike), and Valerie Nutt (Steve) both of Waynesboro; Eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five sisters, Beulah Mathis, Lydia Clayton, Margaret Carroll, Shirley Luker, and Roberta Rochell all of Waynesboro; brothers, Walter and Paul Skelton both of Waynesboro and Edgar Skelton of Michigan and a host of nieces and nephews
