Services for Hershel Berry, 82, St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Wayne County, TN, will be Friday, May 26, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, TN with Roger Creecy officiating. Burial will be in McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
He died at Palms of Pasedena Hospital in South Pasedena, FL on Friday, May 19, 2006.
Mr. Berry, a retired employee of Chrysler Corporation was a son of the late Robert Lincoln and Mattie Nelson Berry, the father of the late James Robert Berry, and a brother of the late Harold Berry, Lillie Jean Powell, Mary Jane Holt, Gertie Daniel, Ruby Daniel, and Dean Robertson.
Survivors, wife, Bernice Bailey Logwood Berry, St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Kenneth, Rickey, and Byron Berry, all of Toledo, OH, Bill and Benny Berry, both of Owensboro, KY, Myron Berry, Cincinnati, OH, Mickey Berry, Ft. Myers, FL, Jerry Berry, Oregon, OH; daughters, Martha Locke, Detroit, MI, Reba Watson, Curtis, OH; stepsons, Thomas Logwood, Mobile, AL, Jerry Logwood, St. Petersburg, FL, Dan Logwood, IN; stepdaughter, Linda Proshot, St. Petersburg, FL, sister, Birdie Daniel, Lawrenceburg, TN; twenty-seven grandchildren, and sixteen plus great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
