Herschel Childers

Herschel Childers was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Robert Dee and Emma Harville Childers.Mr. Childers had worked as a heavy equipment operator for BandB Construction and was a vendor at the Crump Flea Market. He was a life long McNairy and Hardin County resident. He loved fishing, hunting, and being at the Flea market meeting people.Mr. Childers departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the age of 90 years, 24 days.He is survived by a son Junior Lee Childers; 2 daughters, Cathy Ann Childers Hamm and Mary Nan Childers Rogers; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Childers was preceded in death by his wife, Arizona Plunk Childers on January 24, 2000; an infant daughter and daughter, Patricia Mae Childers Lipford; 3 brothers, Howard, Vestie, and Shirley Childers.
