Hermon R. Mitchell

Hermon R. Mitchell was born August 10, 1934 in McNairy County, the son of the late Robert and Winnie Brooks Mitchell.He was united in marriage to Martha Prather Mitchell, on March 3, 1979. Mr. Mitchell Retired from Larry Raines Realty, Graduated from Memphis school of commerce in Accounting and recieved his certificate in real estate. He was in volved in the Democratic comittee for years, a Shriner and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was involved in catering BBQ for benefits and volunteering to help others in need.He departed this life on December 15, 2005 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 4 Months, 5 Days.Other Than his wife, Mr. Mitchell is survived by, a daughter, Dee Blakney of Bartlett, Tennessee, a Son, Roger Mitchell of Nashville, Tennessee, a brother, Harold Mitchell of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, a granddaughter, Mary Ann Lockhart of Atoka, Tennessee, Two grandsons, Robert Mitchell Blakney of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Stacey Blakney of Arlington, Tennessee.Other than his parents, Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by, his first wife, Mary Ann Mitchell, and a son, Robert Adam Mitchell.
