Hermon Glenn Johnson

Hermon Glenn Johnson of Ethridge, TN was born January 6, 1941 in Lewis Co., TN, the son of the late Ellis and Eula Mae Graham Johnson. He was united in marriage to Betty Ruth Ayers on November 2, 1962. Mr. Johnson was retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Lawrence County Classic Car Club and Antique Tractor Club.

Mr. Johnson departed this life on Monday, December 2, 2019 at his home at the age of 78 Years, 10 Months, 26 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth Johnson and daughter, Kim Beckman and husband, Todd all of Ethridge, TN; a grandson, Ty Beckman and wife, Morgan; a brother, Norman Johnson of Florence, AL and a sister, June Dixon of Lawrenceburg, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Keith Johnson and a brother, Donald Johnson.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bill Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Ty Beckman, Ben Threet, Wayne Stults, Allen Dixon, Dewayne Johnson and Clint Johnson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, TN and Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 11 am to service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Collinwood, TN.
