HERBY LEE FRANKS
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 3, 1919 the son of the late Henry and Minnie Petty Franks.
On September 22, 1940 he was united in marriage to the former Clarcie Beatrice Vickery, who preceded her husband in death on May 23, 1992.
Mr. Franks was a carpenter. He was a member of Eureka Methodist Church and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union. Mr. Franks was a United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Franks departed this life on July 24, 2006 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 21 days.
He is survived by one son, Larry Franks of Monroeville, Alabama and one daughter, Sharon Blackwelder of Savannah, Tennessee.
3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren
Mr. Franks was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Elbert, Robert, Elmer Carl and Clyde Franks and 3 sisters, Ethel Franks, Daisy Franks and Bertha Couch.
