Herbert Linsley Witcher of Waynesboro, TN was born January 22, 1921 in Defeated, TN.Mr. Witcher was a retired shipper with Keith Simmons Hardware and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, serving in WW II.Mr. Witcher departed this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 1 Day.He is survived by his wife, Christine Norton Witcher of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Gerald Witcher of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren, Clint Witcher and Heather Geren and husband, Mike; great-grandchildren, Yates Geren and Anna Clark Geren; sisters, Marion Conner of Mt. Juliet, TN, Vivian Witcher of Davidson Co., TN. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Memorial Garden, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Roger C. Balentine officiating, with burial to follow.
