HERBERT PARSON
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 11, 1922 the son of the late John Allen and Maggie Hindman Parson.
On March 8, 1946 he was united in marriage to Cletie Verine Milligan, who survives.
Mr. Parson retired from the State of Tennessee at Pickwick Golf Course and he was also a farmer. Mr. Parson was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Mr. Parson enjoyed sharpening knives and working with his tractor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Mr. Parson departed this life on March 25, 2010 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 14 days.
In addition to his wife, Cletie Verine Parson of Michie, Tennessee, he is survived by one son, Leslie Parson and his wife Kathryn of Michie, Tennessee and 4 daughters, Loraine Spencer and her husband Dennis of Michie, Tennessee, Dora Jane Hill and her husband Frank of Gulfport, Mississippi, Carolyn Allred and her husband James of Counce, Tennessee and Kay Chessor and her husband Pat of Michie, Tennessee.
5 grandchildren, Paige Seay, Maranda Chessor, Stephanie Hill, Jason Spencer and Angela Hill Riley
3 great-grandchildren, Jessie Seay, Jonathan Riley and Lily Grace Spencer.
2 sisters, Virginia Terry of Shiloh, Tennessee and Maudie Milligan of Counce, Tennessee and one brother, Roy Parson of Counce, Tennessee
In addition to his parents, Mr. Parson was preceded in death 3 brothers, Hobert, Arbie and James Parson and 2 sisters, Reba Alexander and Dora Parson
